I don’t normally write these types of letters. That being stated, I brought my daughter to you after having some “bad” experiences in the “Talent Industry”. To say the least, I as a parent and my daughter both had become skeptical about the industry and through the past year you have done an awesome job in turning that skepticism into desire and a thirst for wanting more. From the conversations that you and I have had, to the classes that my daughter takes, the whole thing is a GREAT experience. It is nice to have someone that’s accessible, to bounce questions off of and know that I’m getting a “straight” answer. Alyssa has taken classes in Los Angeles and from our experience the curriculum you are offering is identical to the programs being offered there. My daughter’s schoolwork as well as her confidence level has grown immensely. Jackie, thank you for putting a smile on faces even when things seem down!

| | | | My name is Tami Bears and I can personally give testimony that Studio 24 is one of the best resources for actors/actresses in the Sacramento area. Like so many other aspiring actors/actresses I had fallen for companies promising to “make me famous” only to have wasted money and time and hitting a dead end. When I found Studio 24 I knew immediately upon entering their midtown doors that this was a company above the rest. The staff is warm and friendly and the owner is an actual working Hollywood actor so knows the ins and outs of this confusing and at times heartbreaking business. Immediately he helped me correct my portfolio and has provided me with headshots that I now feel confident bringing in to auditions with me that now have the professionalism needed in this industry. I have a new confidence attending auditions I did not have before as I have been given the tools now to succeed that I once lacked. Studio 24 is one stop shopping for all aspiring actors/models as well. All photography, lessons and social events are under one roof so for me being a busy Mom as well I find very convienent not having to GPS my way around town to find studios or shoot locations.
The best part I love about Studio 24 are the people. They feel more like friends than a business point of contact and express a true interest in helping you succeed in your career. I was so thankful last summer to record my 1st radio ad in their sound studio for 107.9 The End and know without a doubt there are wonderful possibilities now available to me with the help of their team.

| | | | I found the class info garnered from lectures, class exercises, and direction highly useful. The scene breakdown and emotional exercise was amazingly useful and the individualized direction and notes on scene work priceless.
Cody somehow manages to pinpoint our trouble areas easily when we do a scene and is able to figure out what background work we’re missing or struggling with almost right away, asking the right questions and making us realize the footing we need to find to stand the character on. Then, there are the quicker things like timing and pacing that he always feels and fixes. He seems tireless and dedicated to helping us improve.
The individualized approach makes each student feel valuable and the small class size ensures that each person works each class and receives adequate direction. I was so impressed with the performance of your staff and the quality of your class that I was compelled to write this letter expressing my delight. The following statements come from my heart and I wish to share them with your entire staff.
As a retired Law Enforcement Officer I know how important it is to be properly trained and prepared to deal with any situation. We are constantly training to keep our skills sharp and to be prepared for the unexpected. Personal experience is our toolbox and advanced and ongoing training are the finishing tools of the trade. When I found Studio 24 I was skeptical at first. I was afraid this would another fly-by-night operation that was only interested in my money. My opinions and apprehension was quickly curbed as soon as I had my first meeting with Cody Dorkin, the Owner of Studio 24. He was genuine, honest and had a huge portfolio that represented his vast knowledge of the acting business and the behind the scenes activities that the less experienced or new actor has no idea about.
Using my personal and professional experience in law enforcement I examined what Studio 24 had to offer me. After having a brief audition and interview and receiving constructive and professional feedback from their staff, I knew this was a highly motivated and very professional organization that truly had one focus in mind and that was furthering and improving their client’s careers. I can honestly say that Studio 24 has given me many new tools with which to help mold my talents. Studio 24 also offers continued training to add special tools for refining my talents and developing my portfolio to stand out against the sea of other actors out there. I am now using these tools given to refine my talent and give myself an edge over the very capable competition in the acting ring. I believe that Studio 24 has given me the confidence and is continuing to give me the edge I need to stand out against the other actors.
