Get ready to fill the house with laughter! We're excited to have LA Comedy Director Leonard R. Garner and Set Coach Mary McCusker returning to our North Hollywood studio in April!
In this workshop, they will be teaching you the ins and outs of comedy formulti-camera sitcoms. You will learn about the breakdown process for comedies, multi-cam format, tone and rhythm of a show, character types, blocking, and so much more.
Your scene will be directed by Leonard and your final take recorded, which will be yours to keep. You won’t want to miss this Guest Director Comedy Workshop.

Mary McCusker has worked as an on-set coach in such comedies as 'Malcolm in the Middle', 'Broke' on CBS, 'Instant Mom', 'The Bernie Mac Show', and 'How to Rock'. Mary is currently coaching a series regular on ABC’s 'The Conners'.

Lenny Garner is an Emmy nominated & NAACP Winner for Outstanding Directing in a Comedy Series. He has directed over 400 episodes on hit comedy shows including 'The Neighborhood', 'The King of Queens', 'Girlfriends', 'Mr. Iglesias', 'Men at Work', 'Two Guys', 'a Girl and a Pizza Place', 'Raven's Home', 'Just Shoot Me', 'The Wayans Bros', 'According to Jim', & 'Night Court'.
